Nice complex, safe and easy access to the beach.

Lovely family getaway.

The house is beautifully clean. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate a large group comfortably. Two beds upstairs are better for younger kids than adults as the mattresses are quite thin and the stairs quite steep. But everyone managed to sleep comfortably. A lovely braai area and pool. Pool is not very big but good enough to have a good time cooling off and definitely great for younger kids. Table tennis was a lovely extra although the agent did not give us the key upon check-in to access the garage where the table tennis and lights for the braai area are, but the owner was helpful and managed to sort this out quite quickly. Very close to the beach, lovely for morning walks out. Overall a lovely stay for a good price. Just remember to factor in the breakage deposit, which is steeper than most places but of course, you get it back in the end.

Beautiful house in a great location.

We stayed at the White Sands Beach House with my whole family. We had a fantastic time. The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. It had everything we needed. The house is in a security development with the security patrolling all the time, it was very safe. The kids had a great time playing in the garden. It is located close to the beach. We will definitely be back in Summer!

Heerlike ontspanning naby die see!

Baie dankie vir 'n heerlike kuier-spasie!

Dit is 'n pragtige huis, maar word swak bestuur.

White Sands is regtig 'n pragtige huis. Dit is naby 'n lekker swem-/stap-strand geleë in 'n netjiese kompleks. Die huis is groot genoeg vir twee gesinne met kinders om gemaklik te kuier. Dit het baie potensiaal, maar word ongelukkig swak bestuur. Teen die prys per nag het ons baie meer verwag. Sou ons net een of twee van die probleme ervaar het, sou ons maklik ander pad gekyk het. Maar teen die prys, met 'n R5000 deposito, is ons ervaring onaanvaarbaar. Die yskas ruik sleg. Ek moes eers al die rakke uithaal en skoonmaak om te bepaal of dit die bruin vloeistof tussen die hakke is wat ruik. Die vrieskas in die motorhuis ruik nog erger, ons het dit maar so laat staan en liewerster nie gebruik nie. Die skêr is stomp en kom los van die handvatsels, so ook die messe. Die een balklitser se handvatsel is af, die ander een is geroes en kan nie in kos gebruik word nie. Bakke en spane het oorblyfsels van die vorige gaste se aartappelslaai of iets. Ons het maar later alles geskrop voor gebruik. Party bedlampies het nie 'n gloeilamp in nie, so ook nie een slaapkamer nie, daar is geen ekstras nie. Daar is ook geen ekstra komberse vir die koue of lampies om beurtkrag te trotseer nie. Die tafeltennis is 'n bonus, maar is ingedruk in die motorhuis saam met 'n boot en veelvuldige gestoorde items, bring maar ekstra balle! Ons is die oggend wat ons moes arriveer ingelig die swembad is stukkend en groen. Ek besef mens swem nie in die winter nie, maar ons het tienerseuns wat dink dis pret. Hierdie sou my wel nie gepla het as die res van die huis waarde vir geld was nie. Die eienaar is aangenaam om mee te werk. Maar ongelukkig sien White Sands ons nie weer nie.

Pragtige plek, alles wat jy nodig het, baie naby pragtige strand.

Lovely home. Plenty of space for big family group.

Large comfy private home safe in a gated estate. Ample space for family of 4 couples and 4 small children. Everything you could need and more for you. Big braai area, games, jigsaws, boule, table tennis, pool etc for those difficult weather days. Short walk along the boardwalk down to a pristine beach. Can walk forever. Just lovely but oh so windy!

Prag plek naby die see.

Prag plek klipgooi van die see. Skoon en nuwe dekor wat inpas by die plek se tema. Vriendelik ontvang and het ons verblyf met ons vriende en kinders geniet. Baie om te doen in 'n rustige omgewing. Ons sal weer besoek. Dankie.

Beautiful home in a beautiful estate in close proximity to the beach.

The holiday home was white, bright, beautiful, neat and clean with everything well laid out. Percy who met us when we arrived was lovely and she made sure we settled in comfortably. She provided us with additional bath towels which are not normally catered for and cleaned the windows onto the patio, which was greatly appreciated. The beautiful home is in walking distance to the most spectacular beach which we spent a lot of time on. Great venue would definitely recommend. Please note: There is a refundable breakage deposit fee which is due prior to arrival, which we thought was quite high and should probably be reduced to a more feasible amount. But after discussing the amount with the host, she was able to assist us and allow us to come to a more suitable decision.

If the beaches had been open it would have been perfect

Sadly, the beaches were closed due to Covid, but the pool and table tennis table were great and the way the house is structured with a number of different areas is great for a large group. A few oddities, the en-suite doesn’t have a door and the upstairs bedroom looks into the downstairs bunk room which is only tricky if trying to house teen girls in the bunk room and boys upstairs!

Lekker gemaklik.

Hulle wag tot jy so 300 km van die plek af is dan word jy gesê daar is geen badhanddoeke nie, en plaas van R5000 deposito soos geadverteer vra hulle sommer R8000. Huis het pre-paid maar jy moet jou eie kry, ek het gewyer en hulle gesê hulle sal self krag moet koop. Huis is oop maar jy mag niks van die plek se goed gebruik nie. Die huis is hulle besig om reg te maak maar helfte van die goed is nog nie klaar nie en dit laat 'n mens wonder oor hoekom hulle R8000 deposito vra.

Super situation. Very comfortable. Excellent for family and pets. Helpful owner and reception.

Our family of twelve including two dogs enjoyed the open living arrangements and easy access to the best beach I know. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are very steep and that bedroom needs bedside table and light. The deep freeze needs a good cleaning. Keep an eye on the prepay power and call the owner in time to buy more.

Loved the home and the location!

Ample space, lovely pool! Directly opposite the walkway to the beach. Staircase to the loft bedroom are steep, not ideal for small kids however a room with bunk beds provide sufficient alternative. The DStv unfortunately only featured one channel but all in all it was a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it.

Het dit baie geniet by White Sands, die huis was egter nie so skoon soos mens sou verwag nie. Vir R4000 per nag het ons meer van netheid verwag, veral die kombuis kon skoner wees, yskas het sleg geruik, skottelgoedmasjien het sleg geruik, kas onder wasbak ruik sleg. Van die borde en panne ens. was ook vuil in die kas. Baie vuilgoed onder sitkamerbank. Behalwe dit was die huis baie gerieflik, lekker geslaap in skoon gemaklike beddens, heerlik naby die strand, baie lekker vir die kinders met groot tuin en swembad.

Enjoyable and relaxing holiday.

We had a fabulous time and enjoyed our stay at White Sands. Will definitely come again!

First time to Struisbaai certainly if the occasion arises certainly not our last.

We were a party consisting of family (20 in total). We rented two houses in two price ranges. And had the opportunity to value each one. And both in their different price ranges were value for money. Many of our family members live o'seas. Their comments. This was a real vacation far from the madding crowds.

Beautiful, close to beach and stunning garden.

We spent the weekend here with a group of friends. Perfect house for that. Close to beach, clean, stunning garden area with braai and pool. Could have easily spent a week there. Wonderful stay - Thank you.
