Wild Olive Cottage is located in Bethulie, a small town situated in the southern Free State and is nestled between typical Free State "koppies”, translated it means small hills. The town is within close proximity to South Africa’s biggest dam, the iconic Gariep Dam. It has vast natural beauty, a rich history and a multitude of cultures and characters.
The cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The first and second bedrooms each contain a double bed, while the third bedroom contains a king-size bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area has seating space for 6 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a TV with selected DStv channels. Wi-Fi access is also available.
Bethulie is a great example of a quirky rural town and it is well worth spending a day walking the streets and speaking to locals. Agriculture is the main activity in the area with much of the business in town supporting the farming community and associated industries.
