A walk around the farm:

The vineyards is an experience at all times of the year. Maybe in January and February in particular - as they who bear the heavy bunches which later turns into excellent wine. Look at the grapes, look at the blade end. Study the differences and maybe you can tell the difference between the seven different kinds of grapes grown on the farm before your vacation is over.

The red mountains:

In the hours before the sun goes down, played out a spectacular sight on the mountains behind the farm. From all day to be enthroned in the granite, the slowly changing color to orange for just inside the sun leaves the horizon to become fiery red. At the top of a mountain peak is a cross appeared, which can only be seen when the sun hits it when it is low. It commemorates the Italian prisoners of war during World War II made the road over which cuts down the steep hillside to the Toitskloof Pass.

Fairview Winefarm:

Fairview is primarily known for his goats. Not just flattering for an internationally recognized winery. But Goat Tower, its landmarks, and the large rams impress upon closer inspection. It lies about 20 minutes drive from Wildepaardejacht and is the perfect lunch destination. Start with a wine and cheese tasting, and then go into the restaurant - aptly named the goat shed - and order cheese and wine, you put the most about the sample test. Remember to book table at the weekend when many locals also flock to for a weekend lunch.
