This is definitely a place to get away from it all, not too far from Ariamsvlei border post and a must do stopover for a few days.

This tastefully renovated farmhouse is spacious, clean and is fully equipped with everything you need and more. I'm sorry we only stayed over for one night. Amazing birdlife from the usual seedeaters, wattled starlings, rosy-faced love birds and we even spotted a secretary bird and jackal buzzard. The outside braai area and huge verandah adds to the reason I will recommend this place anytime. Friendly and helpful people to meet you added to making us feel at home. Well done to Windkraal Farmhouse.
