Ben’s Cottage offers a private and romantic getaway in a beautiful setting. It sleeps 2 people and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Elandsberg Mountains and farmlands. This cosy cottage offers all the luxuries from home and is located close to the main farmhouse. Although close to the farmhouse, this unit offers complete privacy from the rest of the world. The bathroom is fitted with a large double tub, perfect for romantic evenings together. To add to the ambiance of this cottage, the living space have a Queen Anne stove to make a fire indoors. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, small oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Electricity is provided and there is Vodacom 3G and cellphone reception, unfortunately there is no MTN reception at all. There is a braai area outside and the farm has dams which guests can walk to and swim in. Wood and freshly baked farm bread are available on request.

Description
Kloofhuis is a calm, stylish unit and features a queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and a toilet. The open-plan lounge and dining area is furnished with a dining table for 2, a TV with selected DStv channels and an indoor fireplace. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, microwave, oven and stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. This unit is private with it's own fenced in garden, making it ideal for pets. The outside fireplace is perfect for summer braaiing. The farm offers a variety of activities or guests can simply relax and enjoy the surroundings with a variety of farm animals. Zandrivier is the highest working farm in the Western Cape, located about 1200 m above sea level, and enjoys snowfall during most winters. Guests can explore the 2000ha farm on foot, or tackle the farm roads and various trails on mountain bikes. Special arrangements can be made for horseback riding if conditions allow.

Bergzight Cottage is a large 2-bedroom cottage, 1 of the original farm dwellings of Zandrivier. A wide north facing patio is ideal for early morning coffee or late afternoon sundowners while taking in the sweeping views for which the cottage is named. This unit is very private and pet friendly, as it has a boundary stone wall to keep small dogs from running around. This cottage sleeps up to 4 adults comfortably, a shared living space, and a bathroom fitted with a shower. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, small oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Electricity is provided and there is Vodacom 3G and cellphone reception, unfortunately there is no MTN reception at all. There is a braai area outside and a large fireplace inside. Guests are welcome to swim in the farm dams and explore the fields, woods and veld.

Zandrivier's Main House offers all the comfort of a Karoo farmhouse with stunning views across the valleys and mountains. Sit on the stoep and watch the sun go down and the stars appear - our night skies are breathtaking. There is an indoor fireplace and outdoor braai area. There is also a large lounge with original art on the walls by local artist Floris van Zyl. A caterer's kitchen with gas/electric stove and all amenities is available. This home is perfect for families. The first bedroom has a queen-size bed with an additional walk-in room with 2 single beds which is ideal for 2 additional children. The en-suite bathroom has a shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom has a double bed and fourth bedroom has a double bed and access to an outdoor patio. There is also a shared bathroom with a bath and shower as well as a single guest toilet.
