Susan is 'n uitstekende gasvrou. Sy het seker gemaak ons is gemaklik en het alles wat ons nodig het. Die lodge is in 'n pragtige tuin en die personeel is baie beleefd en deeglik. Ons het vreeslik lekker gekuier!

Unforgettable memories made at Zion Game Lodge.

Our church group of 7 couples completed the last session of a 12 week Married for Life course at Zion Game Lodge. Susan and her husband went out of their way to make our weekend extra special. As a group, we bonded and built friendships, while feasting at Susan's huge Lapa table. The chalets are all specifically named, such as Friendship, Peace, Love, etc. All are beautifully decorated and super clean, with excellent beds and bedding. The garden is lush and green, even during winter, and has interesting spots to explore and discover. The deck overlooks the bushveld, where animals graze. We spent many precious moments on the deck, admiring this unique venue. I will recommend Zion Game Lodge, without a doubt, to any large group, where catering is provided by Susan. Families or couples will also reconnect here with nature.

Ons het dadelik tuis gevoel. Dis skoon en goed toegerus.

John en Susan het ons vriendelik ontvang en al die fasiliteite uitgewys. Susan en haar span was so behulpsaam en ons almal is gou na ons kamers gehelp. Ons het afgepak en lekker ontspan. Wat 'n mooi plek! Ons sal graag weer saam met vriende Zion Game Lodge gaan besoek.

Ons het baie welkom gevoel. Die van Zyl gesin raak soos familie aan die einde van 'n naweek.

Ons as familie het baie tuis gevoel by Zion Game Lodge, John het soveel kennis met ons gedeel sonder huiwering. Ester en Rember is baie behulpsaam en vriendelik, John en Susan is hartsmense, ek sal Zion Game Lodge vir enige een aanbeveel wat wil weg kom van die stad af.

Zion Game Lodge was beyond awesome ...

My girls and I had a great time, with the sound of nothing, except birds chirping during the day and crickets at night. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that just needs to get away from the buzz of the city. So peaceful, so relaxing, so chilled!

Lovely accommodation

Game drives were amazing, very informative and plenty of game on farm to see. Only negative thing to say about the place is that the main house is very close to the accommodation. At times you feel you are invading their home.

A peaceful oasis in the bush

We felt at home immediately thanks to Susanns warm hospitality. The lodge and the open-air kitchen under the lapa were wonderful, and the game drives with John were very instructive ... we also won't forget the evenings around the fire. It is a one hour drive to the main entrance of Marakele National Park, an impressive scenic drive (along a gravel road) on the south border of the park.
