The Killarney Motor Racing Complex, situated in Table View, Cape Town, is a racing circuit and home to the Western Province Motor Club. Regional Main Circuit Racing days offer an action-packed line-up of racing with all sorts of cars and motorcycles on the track. The National Super Series comes to Killarney twice a year and the Pro Tour has also become a favourite in the Cape Motorsport Calendar, attracting spectators in their thousands.
The public can experience the circuit without owning their own racing vehicle at motorcycle and car track days that occur roughly once a month. Members of the public can also hire single seater karts through Fantastic Racing to race on the formula-K circuit; an activity that has proved popular with corporate events and team building.
Main Circuit: These racing events are well supported and attract many spectators and competitors. Racing categories include Classic Cars, Clubmans, Fine Cars, Formula Libre, GTi Challenge, Master V8 Series, Motorcycle Racing, Sports & GT cars, and Supercars.
Street racing: Killarney often hosts Club Drags, Street2Strip, and a Streetcar Track day each month.
Short Circuit Racing: Also known as Half Main Racing, this is a popular and very successful form of motorsport. It is also fantastic for spectators as the entire race track can be seen from any vantage point.
Karting: The Karting Club caters for all ages (in different classes), ranging from 4 to over 50 years old. All karts are privately owned and the complex runs a Regional and National Championship.
Stockcars: The Cape Hell Drivers club hosts Stockcar Racing at Killarney almost once a month in the summer season. Classes include the V8s, Midgets, and the new Mini class for youngsters.
The Killarney main circuit is available for corporate hire for product launches, team building exercises, movie and commercial shoots, and stunt practices within the film industry. Local journalists can often be seen testing new models on the circuit. Various driver training courses are handled by the Killarney Training Centre on the skid pan and main circuit.
