The Kyalami Karting Circuit is a professional kart racing track situated in the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, Johannesburg. Built for development training, racing, and corporate entertainment, the Kyalami Karting Circuit is the perfect venue for corporate events, team building functions, and private parties in Gauteng. Unlike go karts, the Kyalami Karting Circuit runs professional racing karts that can be hired for an unforgettable high-speed experience.
The Karts are complete with slick tyres and reach some impressive speeds. Karts and safety equipment (helmets) are provided, it is compulsory to wear long pants (preferably denim), and it is recommend to wear a long sleeve shirt and jacket. Also remember to wear appropriate shoes.
Owners Grant Wentzel and Sonja Piazza-Musso, as well as all the staff, have a vast knowledge of the motorsport and karting industry, and have participated in motor sport over the years. Grant still races a Formula Ford in the Zetec Class as well as a F400 kart.
Corporate Karting: The Kyalami Karting Circuit team has vast experience in hosting events for groups of all sizes - 850 people being the largest group to date. Kyalami Kart Circuit can also provide all catering and drinks requirements.
Rental Karts: Test a kart for fun, if you are interested in having an event here, or if you are keen to start racing karts. Normally 5 karts run at a time, but up to 15 karts can be accommodated.
Four-stroke Racing: Also referred to as "leisure karting", four-stroke racing bridges the gap between league racing, where drivers participate in karts they rent, and professional two-stroke karting.
