Description

Pearl Valley Golf & Country Estate is one of the most visually spectacular courses in the word, located in Franschhoek, around an hour’s drive from Cape Town. The course was fashioned by golfing legend, Jack Niclaus, who was recently named the most influential man in golf. Officially opened at the beginning of November 2003 by Nicklaus and Gary Player, Pearl Valley Golf & Country Estate offers a round of golf that is hard to beat.

The course blends the lush green of the fairways with the white of the river sand lining the 81 bunkers. The total length of the course off the championship tees is 6,749m whereas the member’s length ranges from 5,878m from the blue club tees with senior/ladies championship tees at 5,586m. The ladies course spans 4,935m. Every hole offers magnificent views of the Paarl and Franschhoek mountain ranges and a unique set of challenges due to strategically placed bunkers and fast greens. Pearl Valley Golf & Country Estate is home of the South African Open.

The Golf Shop

The Golf Shop offers retail therapy for members and guests with a wide range of golfing merchandise, sport and leisure apparel, and excellent equipment. It is open from Monday to Sunday: 06h00 – 19h00.
