Seaview Predator Park is a wonderful big cat sanctuary situated on 120 hectares of indigenous bush in Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. Established in 1975, the sanctuary initiates a big cat breeding programme where visitors can get up close and personal with a variety of big cats.
As the name implies, lions are the main attraction at the park, with a healthy population of around 46 lions on the property. Since 2002, 14 white lion cubs have been bred successfully. In addition to the lions, visitors can also enjoy sighting Siberian tigers, African cats, caracals, servals, and leopards, as well as crocodiles and bush pigs. A variety of free roaming wildlife can be spotted in the bush, such as giraffe, Burchell’s zebra, blue wildebeest, blesbok, impala, nyala, bushbuck, and various other small mammals and reptiles.
Visitors to Seaview can enjoy coming face to face with a variety of big cats and educational interaction sessions with the cubs. Choose to do a private half day VIP tour or visit the sanctuary with a group. There are braai spots available for lunches, a hilltop restaurant with wonderful 180 degree views, and a curio shop on site.
