S.S Gida Hospital is a 122 bed government-funded hospital in Keiskammahoek, Eastern Cape. The hospital serves the Keiskammahoek, Middledrift and Stutterheim Magisterial District as well as part of Dimbaza area with a population of about 51,000.
The hospital is located off the R352 main road, just North of Keiskammahoek in the Eastern Cape Province. Keiskammahoek is situated 37.6km South-East of Stutterheim and 43.2km North-East of King William’s Town on the R352.
S.S Gida Hospital is a provincial hospital, and services are free to pregnant and breastfeeding women as well as children under the age of six years old. Other citizens are charged according to a sliding scale depending on their income.
