Accommodation @ Chicken Shack is situated South of Durban in the peaceful suburb of the Bluff. The Bluff headland, with its characteristic profile dipping into the ocean,is a powerful image.

It is visible from great distances, an extraordinarily diverse area.
An area vested with fascinating history, diverse environmental wealth, great cultural significance, enormous industrial growth, and superlative surfing, fishing and golfing opportunities. Its numerous viewpoints offer spectacular vistas.

Our active participation in promoting Durban South, hands on involvement with accredited tour services and extensive network of other tourism service providers; from transport, sport, adventure, accommodation, outdoor, entertainment and cultural activities, will ensure an eventful and memorable stay.

We have 6 spacious, 3 STAR graded log cabins, with 2 cabins having interlinking capabilities for family combinations. Cabins are fitted with 1X double bed [4X], or 2 singles beds [2X], and all the basic requirements that will ensure a pleasant & memorable stay. Dressing table, cupboards, mirrors, tea & coffee making facilities, bedside lamps, ceiling fans, aircon, microwave, bar fridge and TV’s. All cabins have en-suite shower/ bathroom facilities. Meals are taken at the restaurant or the fully fitted communal kitchen area. Ample secure parking is available for our guests.

We also specialise as a function venue for special occasions.

A dedicated transport service is available; however bookings are essential.
