The location opposite Fancourt was excellent. Whilst it is obvioulsy not a 5 star hotel Udo the owner was extremely friendly and accomodating, and we had a good time.

I want to thank Travelground for a hassle free booking service which was prompt and quick. Our stay at Alpine Inn was one of the most enjoyable weekends we spent in years. The service was friendly, efficient and they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They even ironed our clothes! I would highly recommend staying here as it is only 6km from George Airport and very centrally situated when wanting to take daytrips to Knysna, Mosselbay, Hartenbos, Oudtshoorn and very close to the CBD of George. Will be going back soon! And total value for money!

We found that the pool side cottage we initially requested rather small and we had a problem with hot water (water shortage in George) however Udo quickly moved us to a self catering room, much better, that is the room we will book next time. The breakfasts were fantastic. Udo is a great host.

A friendly, clean and convenient guest house on the outskirts of George. Areas to improve: 1.check in procedure; 2.replace see-through curtaining. These are minor - the whole atmosphere was welcomming and all were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

Just two matters: 1. See through blinds on windows let too much light in at night. 2. Bed lamp has two-pronged plug that cannot be plugged in without an adaptor. Very friendly and efficient service. Thanks so much.
