I have stayed at Ankervas twice before. Each time it was out of season and Ankervas 1 was not booked at the same time. The facilities are amazing, and I booked again for this past Easter weekend. I was aware that Ankervas 1 had also been booked out. It was only on our arrival that the twist in Ankervas became evident. One of Ankervas's most appealing features is the large covered patio with a built-in braai. However, people looking to book Ankervas 2 need to know that this patio is exclusive to Ankervas 1. There is no private outside area available for Ankervas 2. The website does not draw attention to this.
