Looking for St Lucia accommodation? You’re at the right place! Easily reserve today on TravelGround.com.

The coastal village of St. Lucia lays on the Indian Ocean, a 3hr drive north of Durban and 6 hrs from The Kruger Park .It is the southern gateway to The iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site, and is possibly the only town in South Africa that can offer a unique blend of bush animals(elephant, lion ,leopard), 500 species of birds and marine life(whales and dolphins) within 50kms of each other .The sub-tropical climate guarantees warm-to-hot weather all year round. St. Lucia is surrounded by a nature reserve and, as such, there are no buildings on or near the beach and no accommodation with ’sea views’.

Anna’s Bed and Breakfast is a friendly and welcoming guesthouse .Committed to ‘that personal touch’, owners Ivan and Brenda Facer ensure that their guests experience the best the area has to offer. With their local knowledge, the owners ensure that tours and game drives booked through the B+B utilize the best guides within the area.

Set in a quiet garden of lush palms, the inviting pool is the ‘cooling-off’ zone after a busy day of touring. All four bright rooms are comfortable and well furnished. They are all air conditioned with private en-suite facilities and covered balcony. The family room can sleep up to 4 people whilst the others are double rooms. Tea, coffee and mineral water are available in each room together with hair-drier and wall safe. Breakfast is served on the covered patio overlooking the pool and tropical garden.

A fine selection of restaurants is within an easy and safe 7 minute walk and the beach a mere 5 minute drive. Services include laundry, beach towels, guide books and a picnic basket for the early starter to the game reserve.

A 2 night stay will be ample time to experience St Lucia including a casual drive through the Wetland Game Park (viewing buffalo, rhino and other game) to Cape Vidal for a few hours on the beach and some snorkeling and back in St Lucia for a late afternoon estuary cruise. A 3rd day could include a guided tour to the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game Reserve (the 3rd largest in South Africa and the closest one to Durban featuring the BIG5); or a two hour whale watching experience (March to November). Other local activities include birding, hiking, a cultural tour, deep sea and off shore fishing, night drive and a kayak trip on the estuary.

St Lucia; eco-tourism at its best.
