The Big Tuskers Bush Camp is self-catering only, and has four chalets - all with aircondioning. Two chalets have a double bed and a single bed, and two have two 3/4 beds.
We are located within the Marloth Park conservancy, which is on the southern Kruger border. We regularly see all the animals of Kruger - except Elephants - but they can be viewed as you drive along the Crocodile River.
The Bush Camp is not fenced in, so animals often wander through the camp. There are two gates to Kruger that are close by us: Malelane and Crocodile Bridge. There is also bird watching, bush drives, quad biking two golf courses close by. Tiger fishing is also available and you are only 95 km from Maputo and the sea. You will need your passport if you enter Mozambique. We are within a malaria area, so please take precautions. We have made the chalets and the swimming pool disablity friendly.
The chalets all have their own bathroom and toilet. Along with their own dining area, fridge, crockery, cutlery, toaster and kettle. Bedding, towels and blankets are provided - however you are requested to bring your own swimming towels and torches, should the electricity fail.
All units are serviced and bedding changed as required.
They all have overhead big fans and in the next few months will be fitted with air conditioners. The kitchen is fully equipped for about ten people and is shared. There is a fridge with freezer and a separate freezer the kitchen and lapa are also fitted with overhead fans. There is a swimming pool and two braai areas with table. The bush camp is fully paved and wheelchair friendly. There are four parking bays. We have a manageress that will also cater and cook at a cost if you so desired.
