Blougans B&B is a luxurious 4 star guest house situated in Perlemoenbaai at the entrance of Gansbaai. The area is known as the big 2 capital of South Africa, because the main tourist attractions in Gansbaai are the two largest sea mammals, the whale and the great white shark.

The guest house have 3 luxurious, spacious bedrooms with a shared front balcony offering stunning views over Walker Bay, which is the only Whale Nature Reserve in South Africa. You can sit on the balcony of your bedroom and watch whales in the bay, enjoying the spectacular sunsets. You may even spy a school of dolphins playing!

All bedrooms are fully equipped to ensure a happy and restful stay. A full breakfast is provided between 7h00 and 9h00 every morning. There is a TV in every room or you can relax in the entertainment area. There are outdoor and indoor braai facilities. There is also a jacuzzi offering stupendous views of the bay whilst enjoying a drink from our fully-licensed bar. Your hosts Willie and Loretta Beaurain will ensure that your stay will be a happy one and be to glad to assist in arranging any of the activities on offer in the surrounds, such as shark cage diving and whale watching. Other activities include 4 x 4 trails, ocean kayaks, horse-riding, golf.

Gansbaai is only an hours drive from Cape Town so is the ideal weekend getaway. It is a perfect stop over for a Western Cape tour of the Garden Route, but do stay a while longer enjoying the unique activities on offer in the surrounds.
