Guestbook Reviews:

The following reviews are from Bradclin House 's guestbook.
"Warm friendly hosts, easy to find and a beautifully equipped apartment full of books, games and things to do. Wish I could have stayed longer."

"The Drakes were most accommodating and helpful. We had a number of interesting discussions, and they helped direct me to several locations. Their location in Pinelands is in a relaxing neighborhood."

"Such a wonderful place to stay - very welcoming host who truly made us feel at home Excellent standard of accommodation with lots of little extras Great location - tucked away in a leafy suburb yet so easy to get to anywhere Such a haven to return to after hectic days of sightseeing, sport & generally enjoying the great vibe of Cape Town
Would definitely return & have no hesitation in recommending Bradclin House to friends"

""This place is fantastic , the property is clean with modern comforts, the owners are friendly and helpful. I have been so impressed with Cape Town and its adorable sites. This property is situated in Pinelands and is central to all attractions. I have and will continue to recommend this property to others. A big thank you for making us feel so welcomed.""

"I have had the pleasure of staying at both Bradclin Pinelands and Bradclin Newlands, and both were absolutely fabulous. Judelle and James are the warmest hosts I have met on my many business trips around South Africa, and they made both my stays an absolute pleasure. Bradclin Pinelands was wonderful, warm and inviting, with all the amenities needed to make my business trip a pleasure. Bradclin Newlands was also fantastic, again with all the necessities one needs when away from home. I am heading back to Cape Town in April 2010, and have already secured my booking at Bradclin. I would recommend any of the Bradclin properties to anyone travelling either for business or pleasure, and it is my accommodation of choice for all future trips to Cape Town."

"My parents, myself and my two young children stayed at the Bradclin House during our three day visit to Cape Town this past December. Judelle and James provided more than enough room for us in the two self catering units that we occupied. Both units are very neat and tastefully furnished and the self catering option afforded us the privacy we needed. The surroundings are quiet and the beautiful garden provides a restful atmospehere. I will definitely stay there again on future visits to Cape Town."

"I use Bradclin several times a year for business accommodation on a B&B basis. It is close to our offices in Pinelands but the real reason is that one gets a fully equipped room or flat entirely to oneself. There is no need for communal breakfasts or any interference from other guests or over-bearing hosts. Fresh food is left in the fridge daily - and there's plenty of it. Judelle and James have mastered the exact balance between service and privacy. They are true professionals and any requests are dealt with promptly and comprehensively. They understand their guests' routines and preferences and they adjust accordingly."

"Cape Town offers scenic splendour, places of rich and varied historic interest, expansive nature reserves, and all the amenities of a modern city.

Bradclin House is the ideal choice for your accommodation while exploring the city and its environs. I stayed at Bradclin House in Pinelands, a tranquil, leafy suburb, while holidaying in Cape Town during December 2008. I selected their self catering Pelican Post suite.

The suite overlooks a lavishly wooded park with Table Mountain visible as a striking background. The suite is very well appointed with a fully equipped kitchenette, DSTV, a stock of interesting magazines and books to read, pleasing décor and furnishings and en suite bathroom. The beds even have electric blankets to ward off the cold when the Cape South Easter summonses an icy nocturnal orchestra, which it is wont to do from time to time! The room is serviced daily, is spotlessly clean and will accommodate you in supreme comfort and privacy. It is this uncompromising attention to detail that hosts Judelle and James oversee and whose hospitality is generous but never intrusive.

Security is a priority. The room has an alarm and there is secure off road parking. What impressed me even further was the favourable pricing of the accommodation. It made my holiday that much more affordable. This is especially so for people who visit Cape Town from distant shores, because the South African exchange rate works favourably for those who expend any of the major global currencies.

So if it's cleanliness, comfort, privacy, security, hospitality and value for money that you're looking for, then Bradclin House should be your choice. I know that it's mine."

Gary - December 2008
"We spent a week at Bradclin House and were very happy with both the accommodation and the excellent service from our hosts, Judelle and James. Our flat was spacious, spotless and serene. The sunroom and the lovely garden provided tranquil places to relax at the end of a day's sightseeing. Judelle thoughtfully provides plenty of travel guides in the flat to assist with holiday planning.

Judelle and James were ever friendly and willing to assist with any queries and provide suggestions or directions. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Our stay with them proved a delightful introduction to Cape Town and South Africa."

"As a regular business traveller, hotels have become featureless and lacking in that personal touch. By contrast, Bradclin house provides a much more comfortable feel, with hospitality when you need it, solitude when you don't. The Suite is more like being at home, with plenty of space, even better though as, every day, the rooms are cleaned and tidied, the fridge is stocked."

Jack - February 2008
"Having been transferred to Cape Town for a year and not wanting to stay in a Hotel, the Web was used extensively in trying to locate a Bed and Breakfast establishment which would give me the tranquility and home comforts which I required for such a long stay.
Bradclin House became my home for the next year and I could not have made a better choice.
Not only was the accommodation of the highest standard but the tranquil garden enabled me to relax and realy feel at home.
Since this extended stay and during our recent relocation to Cape Town we have had the opportunity of enjoying more of the hospitality of Bradclin House
This B&B is very centrally situated and most of Cape Towns points of interest are within easy reach.
Thanks Judelle and James for making our stays such happy ones.
Your motto "A Home suite Home" could not have been more appropriate."
