Chianti is consist of 4 self-catering units (2-sleeper, 4-sleeper family unit, 4-sleeper luxury family unit, 6-8-sleeper house.

We are situated in the beautiful, quiet fisherman's village named Port Edward - the last town on the South Coast before entering Transkei.

Chianti provides a relaxed environment in which guest are reassured that their needs will be met - that means excellent value for money! The establishment is fully fenced and secure parking with direct access to private entrance so that guests can come and go as they please. There is under cover parking for your vehicle as well.

The units are homely decorated and the kitchens with its granite tops is fully equipped with everything to meet the needs of any aspiring chef. Spacious, colourful bedrooms with enough built-in cupboards in each.

Relax in the comfort of your own beautiful apartment. There is large covered patios for rewarding sundowners (smoking area) while having a braai/BBQ. Be amused by regular visits of troops of Vervet monkeys.

For the luxury family unit and the romantic units .... Cool off in the lovely pool while you catch a glimpse of the Indian Ocean.

Port Edward is a famous fishing destination - deep sea and from the rocks (from the famous Splash Rock!!). You can enjoy typical seaside activities on the beautiful Silver Beach. It is centrally located to many South Coast attractions like Lake Eland, Oribi Gorge, Umtamvuna Nature Reserve, Leopard Rock, etc (just to mention a few)

If you are a keen golfer, you can pick and choose between a few golf courses, like Wild Coast, Port Edward, Southbroom or San Lameer.

Climb the 86 steps of the North Sand Bluff Lighthouse for stunning views of the coast (nice place to have your breakfast of light meal as well)
