These two charming cottages date back to the 1800s and combine authentic Karoo style and ambience with every modern comfort. Beautifully restored and furnished with antiques, they face each other, across the shady quiet of one of the most picturesque streets of the town. Both cottages are understatedly decorated with a highly developed taste for the natural and comfortable. Each cottage has its own private garden.

Our beautiful rooms display high reed ceilings, solid pine and slate floors and are air conditioned (cooling and heating), with en-suite bathrooms, white linen, DSTV and flowers from our lovely garden.

Our rate includes a full Karoo breakfast (cereals, yoghurts, fruits from the orchard, our own free range eggs, bacon, and sausage). We are right next to the nature reserve, nestled in the shadow of Spandau’s Kop – an easy walk takes you right into the best of Karoo nature. The town centre is an easy 10 minute walk, where we organise dinners at any one of our variety of good restaurants. We have swimming facilities in our bore-hole-fed dam and secure off-street parking. Families are most welcome. As the Gem of the Karoo, our town warrants a two night stop over.
