Andries and Amanda’s three star graded Kuierhuis (Kuier is socialising and huis is Home) Guest farm is close to Ventersburg in the Free State, approximately 150 km from Bloemfontein and 200 km from Johannesburg. This breakaway farm stay is where traditional farm life becomes a reality.
The Food is excellent and accommodation is private with en-suite bathrooms, private entrances from a “stoep” (varandah). A large living area connects the rooms with the rest of the house.
Your restful stay can be enhanced with farm activities. The sand stone Chapel is ideal for small intimate weddings and the barn (80 people) gives a wonderful atmosphere to the reception with it’s oil lamps and stone walls. It is also ideal for conferences and team building activities.
