Description
Fairhill Guest House and Nature Reserve is a privately owned self-catering house, situated 7 km south of Stanford on the coastal road to Gansbaai. The house is set on 200 hectares of pristine coastal property. The estate is part of the Walker Bay Fynbos and Nature Conservancy and has direct access to the private and secluded 17 km long Walker Bay beach. This route does need a 4x4 vehicle.
The self-catering house is located about 2 km off the main road and has superb sea, fynbos and mountain views. The house is spacious, open-plan and fully furnished and serviced, with wraparound views. The house can accommodate up to 10 guests and comprises 5 large en-suite bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen fitted with a gas stove, fridge-freezer, 2 ovens, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle, a dining room and a spacious lounge.
Each bedroom contains a king-size bed or twin single beds and an en-suite bathroom and opens to the patio. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas and electricity. The large lounge contains a TV and DStv is available. Outside, the covered veranda features outdoor dining furniture and gas braai facilities. Guests can relax by the sparkling swimming pool with its panoramic views and cave shelter with sun loungers.
Go for leisurely walks during the day and spot species of small game on the property, or enjoy the abundant bird life. In the evening enjoy awe-inspiring sunsets over Hermanus and Walker Bay from the front veranda.
