We had such a great stay at la Roca. The rooms are spacious and gorgeously decorated. We just loved having breakfast outdoors overlooking the lowveld - it was so peaceful & such a great way to start the day. We stayed for 3 nights and every morning we were offered a yummy breakfast instead of the norm - fried eggs & bacon.
Marlea & Rob are such gracious hosts and gave us great advice on where to go & what to see in the area. A very helpful couple! We'll definitley be back - very soon I hope! Caro Greens - December 2010
We spent three nights at La Roca during the Innibos Festival in September and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The guest house is tastefully decorated, with unique African/Oriental touches from the owners' travels in Mozambique and South-East Asia. One of the highlights was the beautifully designed swimming pool area where we spent many peaceful hours. And the breakfasts were fantastic – you really can't beat the bushveld view from the alfresco dining area. It was actually pretty hard tearing ourselves away from this spot ... but the guest house is well positioned, and you're 5 mins away from everything the town of Nelspruit has to offer.
