Langvlei Dunes Accommodation is situated in a 1 hectare fynbos garden, between Wilderness and Sedgefield, in the heart of the Garden Route. It is a quiet, safe area. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, a private deck with braai facilities and lots of wood. Both units also have TV's with full DSTV. The units are comfortably furnished, uncluttered, adding to a restful holiday atmosphere.

The bathrooms have showers only, and beach towels are available on request.

The nearest beach is 7 minutes away by car and then, of course, there are nearby rivers and lakes where sailing, canoeing, swimming, fishing and a host of other water activities can take place.

There are lovely forest walks and picnic spots towards the mountains, and 3 birdhides nearby.

George and the Garden Route mall, which hosts a Ster-Kinekor, many good restaurants and all the popular shops, are about 15 kms away. The area has an abundance of birdlife, in the garden as well as in and around the nearby lakes, rivers and forests. Your host, Alan, is a knowledgeable birder, and will do guided tours in the area by appointment.

Marè has a small nursery, propagating plants to replace all the aliens that have been removed. There are always extra plants available for sale. She will be branching out in the near future, to include local medicinal plants as well.

This is a good central place to stay for anybody needing a break, doing business in the area or wanting a safe base from which to explore the beautiful Garden Route.
