Stunning. Relaxing. Beautiful.

Stunning place. Wonderful service. Professional and kind and friendly. Clean. Amazing dinner, so memorable! Lovely breakfast. Wish my husband and I could have stayed for a few days more.

Absolutely incredible!

Matola is located on an incredible cliff edge with beautiful views of the valley. It's so peaceful. The owners are incredibly helpful and always available. Would definitely recommend going in a 4x4 as there are many nice 4x4 routes going down to the river.

We had a lovely peaceful stay overnight and would definitely stopover for perhaps two nights next time.

Highly recommended stay, relaxed friendly ambiance with beautiful scenery and outlook.

Lekker gerus.

Ongelukkig het ons gesoek na rus en stilte, maar 'n groep wat ook die Sleepshed gedeel het, het tot baie laat gekuier, gebraai en harde musiek gespeel. Dit het ons ervaring bederf. Die slaaplokale is nie rolstoelvriendelik nie - vir ingeval daar in die toekoms so iemand sou wou bespreek. Andersinds 'n goeie ervaring. Baie, dankie.

Unfortunately we were looking for some peace and quiet, but a group who also shared the Sleepshed were hanging out, barbecuing and playing loud music until very late. It spoiled our experience. Uitstekende verblyf met wonderlike uitsig.

Pad na Matola kan met reën dalk nie vir almal beskore wees, maar eers daar gekom is dit werklik die moeite werd. Die 6 kamers is baie goed ingerig en die sentrale kombuis en kuierarea uitstekend ingerig. Uitsig is besonders en het ons die stap op plaas baie geniet. Heelwat boksoorte om te sien en plek is baie veilig. Matola is een van die plekke wat moet besoek word.

The road to Matola may not be for everyone when it rains, but once you get there it's really worth it. The 6 rooms are very well furnished and the central kitchen and living area excellently furnished. The view is exceptional and we really enjoyed the walk on the farm. Lots of buck species to see and place is very safe. Matola is one of the must visit places.
