TravelGround User Reviews:“A wonderful place to unwind”
From the minute we arrived and the warm friendly greeting we received, we knew that we had made a good choice for an overnight stay. The wonderful setting and luxurious accommodation immediately put the hustle of city life behind us. The service and food were excellent. This place is certainly good for one's soul and we will definitely stay longer next time.

“The views are spectacular although it is very dry at the moment.”
We enjoyed our stay there and we had a very harty welcome. Unfortuanately I did not book for dinner and due to the fact that we travelled a long distance that was an anticlimax when we reliased we had to either sleep without food or travel all the way back to Springbok to have something to eat. And then one of the ladies (forgot her name) came back and told us that she has arranged for a platter with bread, cheese and meat aswell as some cold drinks. That is service!!!!! Thank you very much for a good nights sleep.

“A little peace of heaven”
It was a big surprise to found "a little peace of heaven" in the bushes between the mountains. Would never thought a place like that exist. Will definitely visit again and sleeps in the same bungaloo! Thanks for your hospitality and frienliness, we appreciated it.

What a place! We stayed in one of the moutain suites and absolutely loved it. Like other reviewers we now regret only staying one night. We really wanted to stay longer but pre booked accommodation in Namibia awaited us. The mountain suites are unique, beautiful, peaceful, relaxing.... If you do stay I would highly recommend the mountain suite but to be honest you couldn't go wrong with any of the rooms. Food was terrific and plenty on offer for breakfast. We have traveled many countries, across four continents and stayed at numerous places and this one is definitely in our top 3. It is that good

It's a nice calm guest house and the only thing I regret is that we could only stay one night. We arrived in the afternoon and got our rooms (very large with individual furnishing and a very nice and comfortable atmosphere).
Still had some time to explore the surrounding and it seems like a great place to hike and enjoy nature. Spent time observing springboks that were attracted by the lodge's waterhole. The most remarkable experience was the dinner. Would never have expected such a chef in a small and calm guesthouse. All three courses of our dinner were absolutely spectacular! We stayed for one night on a round trip, but I'd definitely recommend the place for a longer stay! StefanMUC, contributor from Tripadvisor - May 2010
The Mountain suites, which are made entirely of thatch, are like no other hotel rooms on earth. They are very comfortable; silent and secluded with a view over the Northern Cape wilderness which makes you believe you are alone in the world.
The service is top class with a host who was extremely knowledgeable about the local area - particularly the best places to see spectacular flower displays (surely the main reason most go to this area - don't miss Nababeep). Even the dog will take you on guided walks!! The food was some of the best we ate in South Africa and in typically good South African portions. I cannot recommend Naries highly enough MisterDoctor, contributor from Tripadvisor - April 2010
