“Excellent value for money and hospitality. Best breakfast in the Karoo!”

We highly recommend Old Mill Country Lodge. It offers outstanding hospitality and value for money. Our family decided this was the best breakfast in the Karoo! Our hosts made us feel at home immediately and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was a great hit with children and teenagers and our whole stay was very relaxed. The location is also very convenient as it is close to the Cango Caves and Cango Ostrich farm. We will definitely return.

“Tranquil accomodation with a nice restaurant ”

We stayed in a very clean room, in farm-style surroundings. This was a great opportunity to visit the local animals (the cattle, goats, dogs and occasional ostrich). There is a large childrens play area - perfect for a family, and the breakfast was sufficient.

“Location and accommodation great - restraunt not to everybodies taste.”

We enjoyed our stay and the environment lends itself to a quiet and peaceful rest. The restaurant is not particularly child friendly and the menu limited. The breakfasts are great and really set you up for the day.
