African Sands is an upmarket bed & breakfast ideally located in Amanzimtoti, 48km from Durban International Airport , 2km from Prospecton, 3km from Southgate Industrial Park and 25km from the Durban City Centre. We offer comfortable, affordable business and holiday accommodation in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

The establishment consists of 11 beautifully decorated suites, one of which offers a self-catering option and 2 of which can accommodate an additional 2 children. 8 of the rooms have queen beds and 2 have 3/4 beds. All units are en-suite, with air conditioning and ceiling fans and have TV's offering the DStv hotel bouquet.

There is a swimming pool, and off-road parking on the premises. We offer a delicious full buffet breakfast to start the day, a laundry service, a mini bar facility and wireless internet.

We are in close proximity to a number of leisure activities including private game farms, crocodile farms, snake parks, The Midlands Meander, The Valley of 1000 Hills, scuba diving at Aliwal Shoals, major shopping malls and cinemas.
