The town St Lucia is uniquely surrounded by a World Heritage Site, the iSimangaliso Wetland Park,an ideal base to experience our unspoiled natural heritage in one of the oldest, most diverse reserves in the world. Watch the sun rise over the sea and set over the lake in one day. An eco- tourist paradise. Our garden is visited by Vervet monkeys, Banded mongoose, Red duiker, Bushbuck, tree squirrels, many birds and sometimes the hippos graze the lake side grass at night.

We are located in the main street away from the busy town centre, still within walking distance to shops etc. Units are set in a natural “wild” tranquil garden on the banks of the St Lucia Estuary. All units have access to the lake via a communal path through the premises. Units have no view of the lake. You can enjoy the front garden view of the Estuary, relax on a wooden lounger chair under the trees or cool down in the swimming pool. We are a Birder Friendly Establishment with own garden list. We provide information with maps of this area. On premises is a fish cleaning zinc and tree house with slide for small children.

We offer holiday accommodation, with owner family living on property. Units are standard, comfortable, no-nonsense, very well equipped, clean and neat. We have 3 joined apartment/chalet units and 1 affordable (budget type) flatlet unit. We cater for nature lovers, families, singles, couples and birders.

1 Parking per unit is on premises at carport undercover. Units are serviced once daily.

The apartment units are ground floor face brick inside & outside with high pine ceilings. One en-suite bathrooms. Open plan kitchen-dining-lounge with sliding glass doors onto own braai/BBQ area separated by plants and garden furniture. Dining area has 4-6 seater set and TV, lounge chairs and 2 single beds. One bedroom with double bed the other bedroom has 2 single beds.

The affordable flatlet is part of the original farm style house converted into 3 units, each with own entrance with 6 steps to door, own bathroom (shower only), 1 bedroom only and extra single beds in lounge. Kitchen area and a dining-lounge area. Ceiling fans in both rooms. Next to the swimming pool with patched view of the lake. Lots of windows all around. Communal path leads past door.

All opening windows and doors have mosquito netting. Apartments have a few DStv channels. Non-smoking rooms inside. No pets. Emergency generator for lights. No same sex
groups. Minimum stay is 2 nights low season.
