"A lovely seaside town with the feeling of a holiday resort that reminds me of my childhood at the beach. Lovely swimming beaches, lots of restaurants for all tastes, and a local shopping centre with all your holiday needs. The town is situated in the lovely Strandveld area of the Western Cape and Arniston, Cape L'agulhas, and Waenhuiskrans is just a little distance from it. Struisbaai is also the centre for deep-sea fishing charter boats going out of its harbour early every morning, weather permitting. It was always a real favourite of our family in the summer! I would recommend this town to anybody looking for a small town beach vacation, in a flash!"
