1 Royal Street Guesthouse is a unique and charming boutique guesthouse nestled in the heart of Riebeek Kasteel, one of the oldest and most historic towns in South Africa. Located at the foot of the Kasteelberg mountain in the Swartland region, our guesthouse is housed in a beautifully restored old Victorian house.

Guests have a choice of either a Garden View Room or a Mountain View Room, each of which is air-conditioned and can accommodate 2 guests. The rooms are also furnished with a king-size bed fitted with crisp white linen and include an en-suite bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower, basin and toilet. This Orchard Suite is separate from the main house and comprises a king-size bed and features a shower en-suite bathroom with access to a private outdoor shower. Other in-room facilities include air-conditioning, a mini-bar fridge, a TV with Netflix, and DStv.

Additionally, all rooms have a bar fridge as well as a tea and coffee station with locally made rusks. Both rooms have free Wi-Fi and a TV with Netflix, providing guests with endless hours of entertainment. Guests have full access to a cosy guest lounge which has a bookshelf full of books to read.

The property is set in a convenient location, only a short walk from the village center. You can easily explore the local shops, cafes, and restaurants, or take a stroll through the picturesque streets of Riebeek Kasteel.
