Above Board is a beautiful holiday home offering self-catering accommodation in the 16 Mile Estate in Yzerfontein. The property enjoys private access to the beach and is ideal for a family getaway.
The tastefully furnished house accommodates 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan living area with a kitchen. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second and third bedrooms both contain a double bed and share the use of a separate bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, and microwave. A dishwasher and washing machine are available in the scullery located just off the kitchen. The dining area has a 6-seater dining table, while the lounge offers a fireplace and a flat-screen TV with Netflix and YouTube access. Guests are also afforded free Wi-Fi.
Leading from the living area is a covered entertainment area with a built-in braai and which leads to the swimming pool. The house is equipped with solar power that provides power to appliances, the TV, and lights during power outages.
The estate borders a nature reserve, which is rich in birdlife, while the surrounding area offers excellent cycling trails.
