Description
Situated high up in the Northern Drakensberg mountains, you will find Ad Astra Cottage which is a rustic and cosy self-catering farmhouse boasting the most expansive views. With mountains stretching around you this house is ideal for guests who love to hike, cycle or just relax.
This unit can accommodate up to 6 guests at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms with an interleading bedroom. Both bedrooms are furnished with 2 single beds and 1 of these rooms features an interleading room that contains a bunk bed. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom. A guest toilet is also available. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is a 6-seater dining table and a lounging area with comfy seating, a fireplace and a TV.
Outside the unit, there is a covered patio with a table and chairs which is an ideal spot for a sundowner while enjoying a braai. The expansive property includes open grasslands, dense mountain forests, a deep gorge with a seasonal waterfall and protea forests with spectacular views.
