Description
AfriCamps Champagne Valley offers a unique boutique glamping experience overlooking serene bush scenery situated in the heart of Central Drakensberg, and just 2 and a half hours from Durban.
This camp offers guests a choice of 10 lovely tents and each tent has a capacity of 5 guests at a time. Each structured tent comprises 2 air-conditioned bedrooms and a private bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a tri-bunk bed. All linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan living space features a kitchenette equipped with a gas stove, bar fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Additionally, there is a dining table and a cosy lounge with comfy seating and a fireplace. Three of the tents open onto a patio with outdoor seating, braai facilities, and a wood-burning hot tub. The other 3 tents do not have a hot tub.
The famed Monk’s Cowl entrance to the Maloti-Drakensberg National Park is just 7 km away, offering access to iconic hiking trails like Champagne Castle and Cathedral Peak. On the farm, guests can explore the forest where various bird species can be spotted or unwind at the eco farm pool soaking up the mountain views.
