Description

African Dreaming is a self-catering house that forms the entire top section of a timber home, located in the small tranquil village of Trafalgar on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Trafalgar is a subtropical paradise of indigenous forests with a Blue Flag beach that has lifeguards all year, and is close to the popular Mac Banana. The property is 2 km from the Trafalgar Blue Flag main beach.

The upstairs self-catering house has its own private entrance, accessed via a pathway from the drive. The house can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen and lounge. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The second bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds and the lounge a double sleeper couch. There is a full second bathroom with bath, shower, and toilet.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a glass-top stove and oven, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The lounge contains a double sleeper couch that can accommodate 2 additional guests. The lounge and both bedrooms have TVs with individual full DStv package.

The first bedroom, lounge and kitchen open to a balcony deck with sun loungers, outdoor seating, outdoor dining furniture and a built-in braai. The deck offers magnificent views.

On-premise safe parking is provided. The house has an alarm system and monitored security response. There is a water tank on-site for those unplanned water interruptions.

Bed linen, dish cloths, tea towels, sunlight liquid, etc. are provided but guests should bring their own towels for the bathroom and the beach.

Your hosts reside in the downstairs unit of the house, and are available if you need any assistance or have any queries.
