Avondsrus is located in Karasburg, Southern Namibia and is the ideal resting place on the way to or from the Fish River Cayon, Swakopmund or for business travellers. Avondsrus is also the only establishment with an A La Carte restaurant in Karasburg, which offers dinners.

Make sure to try the famous Kalkfontein Schnitzel or Kalkfontein Pizza.

The accommodation comprises 5, en-suite bedrooms with 2 having their own heat-and-eat facilities. Secure parking is offered on the premises.

Each room can accommodate 3 guests at a time. THere are 3 bedrooms with 3 single beds and 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 1 single bed. Arrangements can also be made for a family of 4 with an extra bed in the room. There is 1 en-suite bathroom with both a shower and bath and the other feature a shower in each.

The 2 self-catering units are equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle and the crockery and cutlery. The other 3 only have coffee- and tea-making facilities. Only 1 room is equipped with a TV with DStv channels.

There is an outdoor braai area where guests can enjoy preparing a meal together.
