Description
Bayview Loghome is a comfortably furnished self-catering wooden house for 10 people in Blue Horizon Bay.
Situated between the melkhoutbome, the spacious house can accommodate 8 guests, and comprises 3 bedrooms on each level to enjoy beautiful views, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. The ground floor bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, as well as a double sleeper couch for children, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, a bath and a toilet.
Located on the first floor, the 2 bedrooms are furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, a shower, and a toilet. The rooms also open onto a private balcony with a view of the ocean. For convenience, linen and bath towels are provided, and guests please need to bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, a microwave, a fridge, a dishwasher, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. A washing machine is also available in one of the bedrooms, for guests to use.
Guests can relax in the lounge which features a TV with an internet connection to access Netflix. Should you want to access DStv or Showmax, guests please need to use their own username and password.
The living area opens onto the deck which overlooks the bay, and is equipped with braai facilities and overlooks the bay. Please note, only charcoal may be used due to Blue Horizon Bay being in a conservancy. Pets are welcome with prior arrangement.
Bayview Loghome is located near the Van Stadensmond which offers several hiking trails such as the Van Stadens Wildflower Reserve, Maitlands, Three River, and Slipperfield MTB hiking. Slipperfields is also a wedding venue just 15 km from Blue Horizon Bay. Blue Horizon Bay is home to various bushbuck and other small game, and guests can visit the swimming beach or walk on the beach, hike the De Sotte Pad and view nature and fynbos. Jeffrey's Bay and St Francis Bay are approximately 65 km from Blue Horizon Bay, and the main beach in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) is approximately 38 km.
