Eastgate Shopping mall, 1 of the biggest malls in South Africa in located in Bradford Road, less than a kilometre away from the accommodation. Right at the heart of the accommodation, just 1 to 3 floors below is Bedford shopping centre. Within a 5 km distance 1 will come across Huddle Park golf club and nature reserve. This club caters to avid golfers and beginners too and also to the person who just wants to bond with nature, by cycling, walking, running or hiking. The area is filled with restaurants, recreational activities for children and adults alike, and has a wonderful natural environment in which 1 can walk, run or cycle. Just before Huddle Park, Gillooly's Farm, a very popular and old park where 1 can picnic, hike, run, cycle or visit the restaurant and listen to the band's music or just sit quietly at the water's edge and feed ducks.
