Blue Space Beach House offers unique accommodation in a 12 m converted container-inspired holiday house, with lovely sea views. The house offers self-catering accommodation for up to 6 people, and is located across the road from the sea in Pumula, on KwaZulu-Natal’s South Coast. The beach house is situated on a residential property where the owners reside.

The blue shipping container has been converted into a blue and yellow, relaxed, open-plan beach house with 2 en-suite bedrooms and a kitchen and living area. Each bedroom contains a double bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is also a bunk bed in the living area ideal for 2 children.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, an oven, a fridge, and a microwave, and the living area is equipped with a TV. Two French doors open out onto the patio, from where guests can enjoy lovely sea views. Chill in the hammock, bring binoculars to spot the dolphins and whales, or enjoy a braai or an early morning sunrise. There is also a firepit.

All winter heating is with gas, bed linen, extra blankets and bath towels are provided, and guests are required to bring their own beach towels. A cleaning service can be arranged for an additional daily charge. There is parking for 2 vehicles inside the property. Pets are not permitted as the owner’s pets live on the property. There is a small playground on the property.

There are 2 pathways that lead to the beach, ideal for fishing, surfing and swimming. There are natural rock pools for the kids to explore. The KwaZulu-Natal South Coast is known as the Hibiscus Coast, and the closest local shops to the Blue Space Beach House are in Hibberdene, which is 11 km away.
