Buccara Wildlife Reserve is a charming property set on the outskirts of Graaff-Reinet and warmly welcomes guests to discover the secret places in South Africa and embark on an adventure of a lifetime. The reserve honours tradition, offering hidden spots of abundant nourishment, relaxation, peace, and beauty.
Guests have the choice of various accommodation options. The historical Clifton Estates Manor, dating back to 1774, boasts 5 double rooms, creating an ideal family vacation home reminiscent of the atmosphere in the movie Out of Africa. The stylish rooms, overlooking beautiful gardens, are furnished with queen-size, king-size, or a combination of king-size and single beds. Each air-conditioned room features an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a bath. Guests can enjoy a spacious sitting area equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge, Wi-Fi access, and the convenience of a communal kitchen.
The Clifton Main House, slightly more modern than its historical neighbour, features open living areas with a relaxed ambience. It has 4 comfortable rooms to choose from and offers a feeling of your home in the heart of Africa. All rooms overlook beautiful gardens and are furnished with king-size, queen-size, or a combination of queen-size and single beds, each with a full en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, and shower. Linen and towels are provided. The air-conditioned rooms provide a sitting area with a bar fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and access to a communal kitchen. Free Wi-Fi is available. After a game of snooker on the full-sized table dating back to 1911 in the entertainment area, guests can dive into the sparkling pool on a warm summer's day. There are also braai facilities available.
The spectacular Willow Slopes Lodge, designed with colonial architecture and nestled beneath the majestic Willow Slopes cliffs, is surrounded by green lawns, providing an ideal place to relax between safaris. Guests can choose from air-conditioned chalets furnished with queen-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms with showers. Alternatively, the Main House offers 2 bedrooms furnished with a king-size and queen-size bed, respectively, and has en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower. Linen and towels are provided. Each chalet and the house is equipped with a TV and shares 2 kitchens, a dining area, a lounge for socialising, a bar area, a fire pit, a braai area, and a pool.
