Experience a unique wild coast ocean paradise at the exclusive secluded Captain's Cottage perched a stone's throw from the rocky shoreline in Port Edward on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. Wake up to the sun rising and fall asleep with the moon shining brightly, hear the waves thundering away, taste sea salt lingering in the air and in season, watch dolphins and whales play. The cottage offers direct access to the water's edge and a private beach.

Captain’s Cottage is a self-catering cottage that can accommodate up to 4 guests and contains 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The cottage is air-conditioned. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and has sliding doors opening to the front garden. The second bedroom contains a double bed. Each bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.

The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, kettle, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area contains a 4-seater dining table and chairs and a second 2-seater round table and chairs, so you can enjoy the sea views. The lounge contains comfortable seating. At the front of the cottage is a sheltered area with an outdoor dining table and a braai. The cottage is pet friendly.

The Port Edward downtown shops and main Silver Beach are within walking distance from the Captain’s Cottage.
