Chestnut Homestead @ Ancient Earth Farm is a spacious, self-catering home situated on a working Pecan, Olive, and organic fresh produce farm in the Cradle of Humankind region. Ideal for a large family or group of friends.
The property can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time and comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The first bedroom is comfortably furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and a shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and also includes an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the fourth bedroom contains a king-size bed. These bedrooms share the use of the third bathroom fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The home has an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery, dishwasher, and washing machine. Guests can enjoy a meal at the central 6-seater dining table or relax on one of the couches in the adjacent lounge. The lounge also features a fireplace for those cold winter evenings. For guests' entertainment, there is a TV with DStv channels and access to free Wi-Fi.
Outside, guests can enjoy a patio with outdoor seating, braai facilities, and a swimming pool. The garden is fully fenced and features flowers and herbs for picking. Lovely walks are available on the farm, through the wetland, and up to the mountain. Guests are afforded secure on-site parking.
