Description

Collett House is situated on the western side of the quaint village of Clarens. The units are set on a 3000-square-meter property.

Collett house is fitted with 2 en-suite bedrooms each with its own entrance, an open-plan living area with a fully-equipped kitchen, a wood-burning fireplace in the lounge as well as a shaded entertainment area outside. The Lavender Cottage can be rented separately or together with Collett House

Lavender Cottage offers the biggest overall area. The cottage is open-plan and is fitted with a queen-size bed, a bunk bed and a fully-equipped kitchenette (including gas stove and oven). It has a cast-iron coal stove for use during winter, as well as a bathroom with a shower only. There is a private garden with braai area for guests to enjoy.

Alternatively, there are 3 Rock Cottages that are adjacent to each other. Each open-plan unit is equipped with a double bed, bunk bed and a 2-seater couch. A kitchenette equipped with 2 plate gas stove (no oven) for basic self-catering. It offers an en-suite bathroom that is fitted with a shower only. The units leads out onto a deck (including a braai) from where you can soak up the views over Mount Horeb and the Golden Gate Valley.

All units have the basic amenities, including linen and towels. We use gas geysers in the units, for a constant supply of hot water. During winter seasons gas heaters are provided, gas can be requested at an extra cost. We have a carry cot available, at no extra cost.

The property is well fenced with a remote-controlled gate. There is ample parking for all vehicles. The property has a beautiful garden that guests are welcome to explore and take in the 180 degree view of the Maluti Mountains.
