De Mond Villa is a luxury accommodation set on the banks of the beautiful Ramsar Vlei in the De Hoop Nature Reserve. It offers an exclusive blend of authenticity, luxury and comfort with the beauty of the natural surroundings.
This Villa sleeps 10 guests and has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living area. The bedrooms are all furnished with double beds that can also be made up as twin beds on request. 1 of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower, and the other 4 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The villa has awesome interior décor and free Wi-Fi is also available.
There’s a fully equipped kitchen that's only used by the private chef to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and this area leads to the tastefully furnished lounge where guests can relax on comfortable seating and enjoy the views of the beautiful Ramsar Vlei. The living area leads to the dining area where guests can enjoy their meals and the glass stack doors lead to the private outdoor area with braai facilities and a swimming pool.
Here, spectacular birdlife awaits and possible sightings of wild bush pigs, otters, rock dassies, herds of Eland and even leopard tracks. The villa is completely off the grid due to a combination of solar and gas facilities. Some of the activities included in the stay are guided marine walks, a nature drive, guided MTB, and a guided bird and vlei walk. The private guide and host will arrange and facilitate all included and guided activities which are dependent on the length of stay, weather, and tide and will be booked at the host's discretion.
