Die Uilhuisie is a quaint self-catering cottage nestled in the heart of the veld located on a picturesque farm outside the village of Bonnievale. This quaint retreat offers sweeping views of the Riviersonderend Mountain range, particularly enchanting when covered in mid-winter snow.
This off-the-grid cottage is completely solar powered and accommodates 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains a double bed. The rooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower. Quality linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, gas stove, oven, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area features a 4-seater dining table, an indoor braai area that doubles as a fireplace, and a comfy seating space. A coffee machine and complimentary Wi-Fi are included for guests' convenience.
Outside the cottage, is a furnished patio where guests can enjoy their morning coffee, cool off in the swimming pool, or have a braai with stunning views of the landscape. Guests can also spot the Nguni cattle or family of eland that roam the farm.
