Magical family holiday, extremely close to nature.

We had the best stay at Ekuthuleni Hippo View Chalet with our 3 children. The units is on the river and from around 18:00 we could see the hippo’s coming out of the river. Best place to relax away from the city. You are set in nature. To be honest, we intended to go to the Kruger National park for game viewing, but ended up staying on our patio watching the hippo’s, monkeys, alligators and bucks playing in front of us. The unit is safe, with a guard at the gate, and lovely walking trails to enjoy in the morning. The kids loved playing put put with was a small walk from the unit. Marietha and Marjolein was amazing. They ensured that we were looked after all the time. I cannot wait to go again. We loved every second.

'n Unieke belewenis!

Die chalet was baie goed ingerig en ons het alles gehad wat ons nodig het. Alles was netjies, skoon en in 'n goeie toestand. Die uitsig oor die rivier was pragtig, dit was heerlik om te kyk na die seekoeie terwyl jy in die swembad ontspan. Ekuthuleni Hippo View Chalet het ons verwagtinge oortref en ons sal dit definitief aanbeveel vir iemand wat opsoek is na 'n rustige wegbreek!

A unique experience!

The chalet was very well appointed and we had everything we needed. Everything was neat, clean and in good condition. The views over the river were beautiful, it was wonderful to watch the hippos while relaxing in the pool. Ekuthuleni Hippo View Chalet exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!
