Unit 1 is suited to accommodate 2 guests and comes equipped with a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin, a kitchenette, a lounge, a dining area, tea- and coffee-making facilities, Wifi etc. Not wheelchair friendly.

House Rules
Feather Cottage is off the grid, so no loadshedding or water interruptions would take place. Please use electricity and water wisely, as the establishment is eco-friendly. The aircon may not be left on during the night. Please leave the cottage as tidy as possible and don't leave food standing outside. There is an outside dustbin nearby if the inside dustbin is full. Cleaning services can be arranged at an additional cost. No food is allowed in the bedroom. Pets are allowed at an extra cost. When pets are brought along, please use the cleaning products under the basin to keep the cottage clean and as you found it. In case of long stays, if all cleaning products are used up, guests are liable for any additional products. Be assured there are enough products for a basic long stay. An additional fee or penalty will be charged if this is disregarded. Pets are not allowed on the bed. There are 2 dogs and 2 cats on the property. If your pet does not get along with other pets, please call me before checking in to discuss this matter. If these pets are in any way harmed by your pet you will, unfortunately, be liable for all costs. There is an additional per-pet cost, prior to arrangement. These are non-smoking units but a designated smoking area outside is available. Please respect other guests or neighbours when it comes to loud noises. No parties are allowed. In the case of damages to any property at Feather Cottage or its accessories (ex. Glasses, cups etc) a fee will be charged in order to repair or replace. Guests have a designated parking spot of 1 vehicle per unit. If there is an additional vehicle or a guest visiting, please park behind each other or in the safe outside parking area. This is to accommodate and respect other guests. Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be ordered by arrangement. Do not use towels to wipe off make up etc. The breakage deposit will not be refundable if this is disregarded. A booklet is provided in the unit with all details regarding house rules.
