Frans Indongo Lodge is situated just 46 km from Otjiwarongo on the road to Otavi and is not only the ideal stopover for the traveller en route from Windhoek to Etosha National Park, Caprivi or Botswana, but it also offers various remarkable day trips in the surrounding areas.

This property offers guests a choice of 2 single rooms, 8 bungalows or 4 family units. Each unit is furnished with comfortable beds and en-suite bathrooms fitted with either a shower, bath or both. All linen and bath towels are provided. Other in-room amenities include free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, safe for valuables, bar fridge as well as a tea and coffee tray.

An expansive buffet-style breakfast is included with each reservation. Set menus for lunch and dinner are also served at the thatched open lapa, which is the perfect place to end a fun-filled day in Namibia. This lodge invites guests to enjoy the Owambo-style decoration, beautiful garden and excellent cuisine, or have a sundowner on the wooden terrace overlooking the peaceful and majestic landscape of the thorn bush savannah.

Guests can relax by observing grazing animals in our antelope park, including rare white blesbok and black springbok, together with zebra, black wildebeest, impala and many other game species in their natural habitat. For an even better view, there is an elevated observing deck.

This 5500-hectare farm, home to a large number of rare animal species, offers several hiking trails and game drives. Additionally, guests can visit the crocodile farm in Otjiwarongo or take a day trip to explore the wild beauty of Waterberg Plateau Park.
