Go Country - The Barn Cottage is a working farm located 12 km from Dullstroom village and just 4.5 km from the renowned Highland Gate golf course, boasting an 18-hole Championship Ernie Els Golf Course.
A 1.2 km drive along a dirt road from the gatehouse will lead you to The Barn Cottage, which is an old converted barn nestled against a forest with breathtaking views of the dams and grasslands on the farm. The Barn Cottage can comfortably accommodate 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. The second, third, and fourth bedroom has a double bed, and 2 single beds respectively, with en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower. Linen and towels are provided.
The unit has a kitchen equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and leads out to a dining table with chairs. It further expands to the lounge furnished with comfy couches and a cosy fireplace.
Guests can enjoy fishing in the 3 bass dams and explore scenic walking and mountain bike trails that meander through the forest and grasslands. For the more adventurous, there's a challenging trek up the mountain. Secure parking is available on the premises.
