Goedehoop is a lovely off-the-grid self-catering cottage situated on Lamont Farm which is located 31 km outside of Mossel Bay. This is a great option for a family seeking a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
This property can accommodate up to 6 guests at a time and comprises 3 en-suite bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath. The second bedroom also has 2 single beds, while the third bedroom contains a double bed. Both of these rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a shower. All linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
The open-plan living area features a kitchen equipped with a gas stove, convection oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchen is a dining table with ample seating for everyone to enjoy their meals together. The lounge has comfy seating where guests can relax with a book.
Additionally, this home has a games room with a pool table and a double sleeper couch which is available for extra guests at an additional cost. Outside, guests have their own patio with a portable braai. The location of this cottage is only a short distance away from Gouritsmond and Vleesbaai beaches. A wide variety of outdoor activities that guests can enjoy include hiking, biking, fishing in the Gourits River and many more.
